Sponsorship

The sponsorship program is an exciting way that you may become directly involved in the life of a Haitian elementary or secondary education student.  For a small year amount that is paid to the Haiti Lutheran Mission Society, you receive a picture of child for which your sponsorship amount partially pays for his or her tuition.

Your donation on behalf of this child is credited for this child, yet, we are very aware that all tuition costs are supplemented by HLMS.  With the ever increasing cost of retaining teachers in Haiti, expanding our course offerings, and even the cost of food, we know that our sponsorship amount will need to increase at some point in the future. 

You may consider an additional amount to your regular sponsorship of a child to help defray the costs of his/her education through our schools.

These amounts are deposited into an account here in the states and our mission sites receive regular quarterly payments to support the ongoing education of the children in our schools.
